As an escape from all the settling in at Adams Boat Care, we sailed to Circe’s birth place of Ellös on the tip of Orust island. Ellös is the home of shipbuilders Hallberg-Rassy, a boatyard whose roots began in 1943. What we love best about the town are the swimming platforms hugging the rocks opposite the boatyard. Small as it is, this little town has everything from a grocery store to a coffee shop to an ice cream shop.
